All About Gut Health

nutrition coaching with Justin Murphy

Since submerging myself to the Fitness and Nutrition realm many years ago, my experience has ranged from working with clients as a Nutritionist/Diet Coach for a Medical Weight Loss Clinic and two separate Anti-Aging Clinics in which I performed numerous roles in helping patients fix any hormonal imbalances and lose weight. During that time, I worked with a team of doctors where we implemented both natural means and the use of bioidentical hormones to help people achieve their best selves. So, I can safely say that I am well versed in helping clients with their hormone concerns and to lose weight. My desire to learn has always been intense, and in furthering my desire to help others, I have become a Functional Diagnostic Practitioner (FDN) and am over half way through the Level 2 FDN program. I have accomplished 3 specialty certifications under Nutritional Fitness Therapy and I am currently in the middle of a Master Herbalist program that focuses primarily on dealing with female hormonal imbalances. Additionally, I am enrolled in a Gastrointestinal Mastery Course scheduled to be completed in August 2018. Overall, between 2017 and 2018 I have completed over 200 hours of continuing education in the medical field. I continue to grow and learn new applications with the hopes that I can help more people and dig even deeper into their problems and find out where the root of their concerns may lie in hopes that I never meet a client that I cannot in some way help. And for the various types of athletes out there, I can also say that I have walked the walk, as my athletic career began playing college football many moons ago. Until recently, CrossFit was my sole means of fitness and sport and it took me to the highest level that my body would allow. I qualified for Regionals as an individual and participated in 3 additional Regionals competitions on a team in the Southwest. So, deep down I believe that I have a good sense of what needs to be done if someone is wanting to excel in a sport and maximize performance and recovery.
