I used to suck at grocery shopping. I never bought vegetables and fruits. All of my meat and fish were frozen. I ate protein bars and shakes all day every day. I bought all my food from Walmart or fast food restaurants. The list could go on forever…
Basically, I sucked at grocery shopping and my understanding of nutrition was inexistent. I don’t think I did it on purpose, I just simply didn’t know what I didn’t know. For a lot of people, that seems to be a commonality.
It’s amazing what happens when you start to really embrace the importance of the food you put into your body. The more you prioritize your health, the more you learn. The more you learn, the easier it becomes. The biggest challenge is making it a priority. From there, the biggest challenge is figuring out a game plan that is sustainable or your lifestyle. From there, the challenge is consistency.
There are many challenges that people face early on when starting anything new. It’s ok. Anything worth having takes time. The food you put into your body matters. The food you put into your body affects every aspect of your life. Don’t be an asshole, nourish your body to fuel an amazing life!
